What you can request
- Delete your account.
- Delete uploads or media assets.
- Delete analytics data tied to your profile.
- Delete design settings, QR code data, or other stored profile details.
- Ask about other account-specific data if you are not sure where it lives.
Other privacy requests
You can also ask about access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where those rights apply to you. Include the account email and a clear description so we can route the request correctly.
- Use the dashboard for routine profile edits.
- Use this page for a formal deletion or data-control request.
- For questions about a request, email support@arowet.com.
What may remain
Some logs, security records, payment references, or compliance records may need to remain where the law or platform security requires it.
Verification and timing
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account or the email address connected to the request before making permanent changes.
After we receive a valid request, processing time can vary depending on the amount of data involved and whether the request affects backups, billing, or legal records.
- Include the email linked to the account.
- Describe exactly what you want removed so we do not miss anything.
- If you submitted the wrong request, send a follow-up with the correction as soon as possible.
Deletion limits and retained records
Deleting an account does not always remove every related record immediately. Some information may need to remain for billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or to keep the service functioning safely for other users.
We may also keep limited technical records for a period of time in backup systems or logs until those systems are refreshed or rotated in the normal course of operations.
- Public content may disappear from Arowet before it fully disappears from backups.
- Payment or abuse-related records can remain when a legal reason requires it.
- We will not keep more data than we reasonably need for those purposes.
What happens after deletion
Once a request is completed, profile pages, analytics, uploads, and stored settings tied to the account may be removed or anonymized depending on the type of request and the records involved. If a deletion request only covers a subset of data, we will try to remove the items you identified while leaving the rest of the account intact where possible.
If a link or page has already been copied by a third-party service, cached by a search engine, or saved by another user, Arowet may not be able to remove that outside copy directly. In those cases we can only control the data that lives inside our own systems.
- Keep a copy of anything you want before the deletion is finalized.
- Tell us if you only want specific uploads or settings removed.
- If you still need access to the account, say so before we complete the request.
Follow-up and support
If you do not hear back or if you need to correct something in your request, follow up by email so we can match the new message to the original case. Including the same account email, username, or reference details helps us review the right record more quickly.
For urgent help or questions about the deletion process, email support@arowet.com.
What can be deleted by feature
Depending on the request, we can review profile-level data such as the public bio, links, images, videos, QR code destinations, and business card details that are stored on your account. We can also review uploads and other content that lives under your profile when the request specifically asks for those items.
If you use paid features, the request can also ask us to review subscription-related information where that is allowed. Some records may remain because they are needed for billing reconciliation, tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, but we will try to remove what we control when the request permits it.
- Tell us which feature or asset you want removed so we do not miss it.
- Public page data, uploads, and QR/business card information can often be reviewed separately.
- Payment-related data may have legal limits that prevent full deletion.
After the request is completed
When a deletion request is finished, the account or data set may no longer be available in the normal dashboard view. Even after that point, some information can still exist in backups, logs, or third-party systems for a limited time until those systems age out or are overwritten in the normal course of operations.
If someone else already copied your page, saved your profile picture, or cached your public information, we may not be able to remove those outside copies directly. We will still delete what is stored on Arowet’s side when the request and applicable rules allow it.
- Save anything important before the deletion is finalized.
- Use the same email or username in follow-up messages so we can match the request.
- Third-party copies and search caches can outlive the main deletion process.
Request timing and edge cases
Most deletion requests are straightforward, but a few situations can take longer. A request that includes many uploads, a paid subscription history, or a need to preserve legal records may need a little more review time than a simple profile removal. We also may need extra time if the account information does not match the person sending the request or if a security check is required.
If a request cannot be completed exactly as written, we will try to explain what happened and what part of the request we can still process. In some cases the right answer is a partial deletion or an anonymized record rather than a full removal, especially when retention is required by law or when the request affects other people’s data.
- Complex requests can take longer than simple profile removals.
- If we can only complete part of the request, we will try to explain why.
- Retention rules can require anonymized or partial storage in some cases.
Verification and request details
To protect your account, we may ask for enough information to verify that the person requesting deletion is the account owner or an authorized representative. That can include the account email, the username, the page URL, or a short note that explains what should be deleted and why.
The more specific you are, the easier it is for us to remove the right data without deleting something you still need. If you want everything deleted, say that clearly. If you only want a single upload, page element, or profile field removed, describe that item in plain language so we can identify it accurately.
- Use one request for the main account and add details for specific items.
- Tell us whether you want a full deletion or only a partial review.
- Clear descriptions help prevent accidental over-deletion or missed items.
